Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced the 'Nol Travel' discount card, offering an array of benefits related to public transport, taxi fares, and parking fees in the Emirate. The card includes 100 exclusive promotional offers across various sectors, enhancing the travel experience for both residents and tourists.

The 'nol Travel' card was unveiled on June 10, 2024, at a special event held at the Skyview Hotel Dubai. In collaboration with MDX Solutions Middle East, the RTA announced that the card would be available at several outlets, including Zoom, Al Ansari Exchange, Euro Car at the airport, and Rayna Tours offices.

Comprehensive incentive package

Mohammed Yousef Al Mudharreb, CEO of the Corporate Technology Support Services Sector at RTA, highlighted the card as a significant incentive for public transport users in Dubai. “The 'nol Travel' card is tailored for residents, tourists, and visitors, especially given that Dubai welcomed over 20 million visitors in 2023,” he said. The card integrates public transport services with access to tourist facilities, offering users a seamless travel experience.

Benefits and promotions

The 'nol Travel card extends the existing nol card benefits, covering payments for public transport, taxi fares, parking fees, and purchases at retail outlets. Al Mudharreb explained that users would receive a regular nol card ideal for metro, tram, bus, and marine transport. Additionally, they will enjoy discounts worth over AED 70,000 across various sectors, including hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and entertainment venues.

Extensive discounts and offers

The package includes 100 promotions from 50 brands at 65 outlets, offering discounts ranging from 10% to 50%. Notable partners include Rayna Tours, Emaar At the Top, Nakheel The View at the Palm Jumeirah, Bab Al Qasr Hotel restaurants, Swiss Hotel restaurants, Dubai Ladies Club, Health First Pharmacies, G-Shock Watches, and Sharaf Retail, among others.

Enhancing customer experience

Al Mudharreb emphasized that the RTA aims to delight the public with products customized to their needs. The 'nol Travel' card is designed to integrate various services into a single card, making it a versatile tool for navigating Dubai’s extensive transport network while enjoying substantial savings on a wide range of activities and services.
